Ithaca is centrally isolated in the
middle of New York. Use the map

If you are coming from the North, I
recommend taking route 89 from the
very top and driving the lakeside route
the whole way down. This is more scenic
but also bisects fewer towns meaning fewer
speed zones. Regardless of the route you take,
please keep an eye out for deer. There are too
many in these parts, but your car is not the best tool
for reducing their population. Drive safely.
